A.J. Brown lands on Eagles injury report after wisdom tooth procedure

The Eagles’ Wednesday practice lacked some bite.

Wide receiver A.J. Brown missed the team’s workout as he underwent a procedure on his wisdom teeth, the Eagles announced.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reported earlier in the day that Brown was expected to get his wisdom teeth removed this week, but it wasn’t clear when it was happening.

It’s not yet clear if the dental procedure will affect Brown’s ability to play Sunday against the Bills.

The 2025 season has been an up-and-down one for the Eagles’ offense, and Brown’s play has fluctuated plenty.

In mid-November, days after a game in which he hauled in two catches for just 13 yards, Brown sounded off on the Eagles’ hot-and-cold offense.

“It’s not just solely about my situation. I want to win, too,” he told reporters. “I think if we’re really focused on winning and doing our job, we can’t just keep slapping a Band-Aid over the defense doing their job and getting us out of trouble. At what point are we going to pick up our slack as an offense?

“That’s what I’m getting at. It’s not about, ‘I don’t care about winning, all I care about is stats.’ No. It’s been week after week sometimes we’re not doing our job on offense. You can’t keep slapping a Band-Aid over that and expect to win late in the year and think you’re going to go to that at the end of the year. It’s not going to f–king happen.”

In five out of the last six games, though, Brown has been targeted at least 10 times and totaled four touchdowns.

As it stands now, the third-seeded Eagles would face the 49ers in the wild-card round.
