Paul posted on social media that he had suffered a broken jaw in two places, and underwent surgery. While some sections of the MMA world took shots at Paul for the fight and how it started, ‘The Problem Child’ got the stamp of approval from Trump.
The US president posted on his Truth Social account, while leaving North Carolina, that he saw the Paul vs. Joshua fight on his plane, presumably Air Force One.
He lauded Paul for taking up the fight and believed the YouTuber did well:
“On the plane I just got to watch the Jake Paul Fight, and he did really well, especially as a display of GREAT Courage against a very talented and large Anthony Joshua. Fantastic Entertainment, but Kudos to Jake for his Stamina, and frankly, Ability, against a much bigger man!”Paul also posted this on his Instagram stories.
