Jalen Hurts may have truly gone international in terms of fame. High drama in Spain spilled into social media as Real Madrid’s $93,700,000 star Aurélien Tchouaméni (as per transfermarkt) went viral after El Clásico for using a video clip of the Eagles quarterback.
Madrid edged past Barcelona 2-1 in a thrilling showdown, and to top it off, Tchouaméni’s postgame move is stealing headlines. The French midfielder took to Instagram and posted a one-word caption: “Mood,” along with a video of Hurts saying,
“That’s what y’all wanted to see.”•

The clip is originally from Hurts’ postgame comments after the Eagles’ 27-13 win over the Steelers last December. In that game, Hurts completed 25 of 32 passes for 290 yards and two touchdowns. Here's the original clip of Hurt:
Fans believe Tchouaméni's post was subtly targeted at Barcelona’s 17-year-old sensation Lamine Yamal, who bragged about “defeating Madrid” before kickoff.
Jalen Hurts fumble controversy during tush push play vs. Giants
The Eagles’ signature “tush push” might be the most polarizing play in football. It found itself in the middle of yet another controversy on Sunday against the New York Giants. What was supposed to be a routine fourth-down sneak for Hurts turned into pure chaos.
In the second quarter, Hurts lunged forward on the tush push play, extending the ball past the line to gain. However, before his knees touched the ground, Giants edge rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux ripped the ball loose. It appeared to be a clean fumble that should’ve given New York possession at its own 10-yard line.
Instead, officials ruled Hurts’ forward progress had been stopped, making the play non-reviewable. Referee Brad Rogers later explained that because the whistle was blown for forward progress, the turnover could not be reviewed.
