WWE analyst Peter Rosenberg is predicting a huge win for a nine-time champion at an upcoming event. This superstar was "guaranteed" to take him to his ninth career world championship.

At Saturday Night's Main Event, CM Punk and Jey Uso are scheduled for a match to determine the new World Heavyweight Champion. Seth Rollins vacated the title after undergoing surgery on his left shoulder. He suffered the injury during his match against Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel: Perth.

Speaking on the Cheap Heat podcast, Peter Rosenberg picked Punk, who is a six-time WWE World Champion and two-time AEW World Champion, as his winner at SNME on November 1 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

"I think at this point it kind of makes it a guarantee that Punk wins. Like it can't be that they're going back to Jey with the world title right now. Like I just can't see that being a possibility," Rosenberg said.

There has been a ton of hate toward Jey Uso after he won the battle royal last week. While he remains popular with the live audience, there's a shocking disdain from the majority of the internet wrestling community for The Yeet Master.

It will be interesting to see how the Anaheim, California crowd reacts to their face-to-face this Monday on RAW.

Scott D'Amore explains how he'll book CM Punk vs. Jey Uso WWE title match

In a column for Yahoo! Sports' Uncrowned, former TNA Wrestling president Scott D'Amore shared how he'll book the World Heavyweight Championship match between CM Punk and Jey Uso. D'Amore wouldn't put the title on The Second City Saint because it's too similar to what happened at SummerSlam.

"Putting the title back on CM Punk at Saturday Night’s Main Event isn’t what I’d do. It would be a pale imitation of his emotional win over Gunther at SummerSlam. Even though WWE is scrambling to fill the Seth Rollins-sized hole, I think Punk should spend more time chasing the belt. There’s a bigger, more meaningful moment down the road," D'Amore wrote.

The Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling promoter would give the belt to Jey Uso, who he prefers to have a heel turn. Nevertheless, WWE's plans for the rest of the year and into 2026 were put in disarray by Seth Rollins' injury.
