Dabang Delhi became the first finalists of Pro Kabaddi 2025. They beat Puneri Paltan in a thrilling Qualifier 1 on Monday, October 27. It was an intense clash that went right down to the wire. The scores were tied 34-34 with Delhi winning 6-4 in the tie-breaker.
It was a fitting game for the top two teams after the league stage. Neeraj Narwal scored seven raid points for Delhi. The defense came together with Surjeet Singh, Sandeep, Saurabh Nandal, and Fazel Atrachali, all scoring tackle points.
Aditya Shinde impressed with another Super 10 for Puneri Paltan. Abinesh Nadarajan, Gurdeep, and Gaurav Khatri were all among the tackle points for them. Unfortunately, they were unable to maintain their lead in the dying moments and eventually lost in the tie-breaker.

Dabang Delhi will face either Patna Pirates, Telugu Titans, or Puneri Paltan in the final. The summit clash will be held on Friday, October 31. They have won the title once in Season 8 and will aim for their second trophy.
Puneri Paltan will play Qualifier 2 after defeat to Dabang Delhi
Despite the defeat against Dabang Delhi, Puneri Paltan will have another opportunity to make the final. They will now play the second Qualifier on Wednesday, October 29.
Telugu Titans and Patna Pirates will first play the third Eliminator. The winner of this contest will face Puneri Paltan in the second Qualifier. Like Delhi, Puneri Paltan have also won the Pro Kabaddi trophy once previously. They beat Haryana Steelers in the final in Season 10.
After failing to defend their title in Season 11, they have come close to winning it once again this season. They will aim to bounce back from the defeat in the first Qualifier and make the final.
Like Delhi, Puneri Paltan will also be eager to win the trophy for the second time in the history of the league. They are among the most balanced teams this season and have been consistent throughout.
