Skims
I won't lie, I spend the entire month of December in loungewear. And the only time I'm required to wear real pants (for work or maybe a holiday party), I'm dreaming about the moment I get to go home and crawl back into my favorite sweats.
But here's the thing: not all cozy loungewear is made equal, and personally, I consider myself something of a "Goldilocks" in that department.
The outfit should be oversized but not so overwhelming you're drowning in fabric, the elastic waistband can't be too loose or too tight, and it should strike the right balance between lightweight and still warm.
The good news? I jump at every opportunity to try new loungewear (for research purposes, of course) and have become something of an expert on the subject. Keep scrolling to shop my absolute favorite styles and sets I'm eyeing for my own wardrobe.
You'll thank me when you're curled up by the fire in new Skims, Alo, or Aviator Nation knitwear.
Missactiver Striped 2-Piece Lounge Set
I love a striped lounge set (so much so I'm practically a collector at this point) but now that season is shifting from cozy fall to freezing winter, I need a slightly warmer version of what I already have at home. That's where this shopper-loved Amazon style comes in.
Shoppers Say: the set is "cute, comfy, and perfect for lounging or errands" thanks to its "soft and lightweight" design.
Skims Soft Lounge Tank Sleep Set
Listen: Skims deserves all its hype and this Soft Lounge Tank Sleep Set is no exception. The buttery-soft pairing is so "cozy and comfy" shoppers "wish [they] could wear it to work and all day long." So real.
Editor's Pick
Heart 4 Sweatpants
Aviator Nation is my forever favorite for comy fozies—I own more sets than I’m willing to admit. And my latest obsession is the camo heart crew crew sweatshirt and matching pants. Yes, the price tag is a little steep, but the quality more than makes up for it. I have styles that are five-plus years old and still look and feel new.
Shoppers Say: they get "so many compliments" on the sweats, and called it "so comfy" and the "cutest set ever!"
ZESICA 2-Piece Knit Lounge Set
If you want a more elevated loungewear—something you can wear to Thanksgiving dinner without feeling like you're in pajamas—this two-piece knit set is perfect. It's the best of both worlds for "[lounging] around the house or even family photos," according to shoppers.
ALL THE WAYS Trina Lounge Set
This cardigan and matching sweats set is so versatile—wear it to lounge around the house or for trips to the grocery store, a casual lunch, or day of travel.
Cable Knit Winter Bliss Hoodie
Alo’s Cable Knit Winter Bliss Pant and Hoodie set is the winter loungewear of my dreams. I can picture it now: on Christmas morning, to après ski, or for a holiday movie night.
Shoppers Say: it's the "perfect winter relaxation outfit." They added that it's "so soft and not at all scratchy" and they "love that this is stretchy too."
Anrabess Loungewear Set
Shoppers are seriously obsessed with this Amazon sweatsuit. 7,000 customers, to be One reviewer gushed that it's the "perfect weight, not too heavy or too light," while another added that "the construction and material are top notch." All that for under $50? Sold.
Cityscape 2.0 Crewneck & Sweatpant Set
Cozy Earth delivers on the "cozy" with, well, everything on its site—but especially the Cityscape 2.0 Crewneck and Sweatpant Set. It comes in classic colors and two more style iterations, if you prefer a hoodie to a crewneck and wide-leg pants to a jogger.
Shoppers Say: "[the loungewear] is super lightweight and comfortable" and they're "not sure [they] can wear anything but Cozy Earth now."
Milk Bottle Sweatpants
These Dairy Boy Milk Bottle Sweats (and the matching Cropped Hoodie, of course) are about as charming as it gets. The lounge set is made from the softest cotton French terry fabric with a perfectly oversized fit that's effortlessly cool.
Shoppers Say: the sweats are "so cozy and the material is amazing" and the "the cute milk bottle print is chefs kiss!!"
