CM Punk visibly excited at his wife AJ Lee's backstage moment with female WWE star

WWE RAW from Madison Square Garden featured AJ Lee's surprise return alongside many other shocking moments. The former Divas Champion interfered in Becky Lynch's Women's Intercontinental Championship match against Maxxine Dupri, and ended up costing her rival the title.

Backstage, Lee had a segment with Rhea Ripley, and it hinted at the two joining forces for a WarGames match at Survivor Series. Lee's husband, CM Punk, posted a picture of the backstage interaction between the two on his Instagram story and was visibly excited about the two stars potentially teaming up.

Ripley asked Lee if she had a second to chat, to which the latter responded positively. The topic of their conversation remains up for speculation, but it seems likely that it involved the upcoming Women's WarGames Match.

It remains to be seen whether Becky Lynch and AJ Lee will battle it out in a singles match or whether they will participate in the Women's WarGames match at Survivor Series.

CM Punk's Survivor Series team received a fifth member on WWE RAW

On Friday Night SmackDown, Drew McIntyre was revealed as Team Vision's fourth member after Paul Heyman shockingly brought him back from suspension.

Team Vision and Team Punk brawled to close out a special episode of WWE RAW from MSG, but not before two huge returns. Brock Lesnar returned for the first time since demolishing John Cena at Wrestlepalooza as the fifth member of Team Vision at WarGames.

On the other hand, Roman Reigns made a comeback for the first time since Crown Jewel to align with The Usos, Cody Rhodes, and CM Punk. The two teams could not be separated as the show went off air, and fans are in store for one of the most star-studded WarGames matches of all time come Survivor Series 2025.

It now remains to be seen which team picks up the win inside the cage in San Diego.
