4 Things that are almost guaranteed to happen if Jey Uso wins the World Heavyweight Championship

Jey Uso and CM Punk are set to collide for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship at Saturday Night's Main Event XLI. The Second City Saint became the number one contender on the post-Crown Jewel episode of WWE RAW, defeating The YEET Master and LA Knight in a Triple Threat Match.

Meanwhile, Jey won a Battle Royal to secure a title bout this weekend. Both are formidable competitors, making the match at SNME XLI unpredictable. However, the creative team has already planted seeds for multiple storylines if Main Event Jey walks away with the gold this Saturday.

Now, this doesn't necessarily mean that Jey will win, but these potential scenarios strengthen the case for why he could. That said, here are four things that are almost guaranteed to happen if Jey Uso wins the World Heavyweight Championship at Saturday Night's Main Event:

Did The Rock's "Final Boss" run hurt WWE? Watch Here!

#4. Jey Uso will likely feud with his allies as champion

Jey Uso's recent attitude shift and actions have indicated that he is willing to go to any lengths to regain the World Heavyweight Title, including betraying his own family. During the Battle Royal last week, Jimmy Uso had his twin's back, saving him from being eliminated several times.

However, The YEET Master showed no hesitation in throwing Jimmy over the top rope when he had an opportunity. Jey did all this just to get a title shot. If he wins the championship this weekend, one can only imagine what The YEET Master might do to keep it.

This attitude and obsession could put him at odds with his family members and allies. In his second potential reign, Jey could go up against Jimmy Uso, Roman Reigns, and even Cody Rhodes and Sami Zayn, who are on SmackDown.

#3. Bron Breakker could be the one to dethrone The YEET Master

Seth Rollins' untimely injury has fast-tracked Bron Breakker's push to the main event scene. While many expected Breakker to face CM Punk this Saturday, the creative team has decided to hold off The Dog of WWE's crowning moment, and it may be for a good reason.

If Jey Uso wins the title, he would arguably be a better transitional champion than Punk if WWE is planning to crown Bron Breakker as champion soon. Now, this doesn't mean that the Samoan star will have a short reign, but if the next champion is already decided, then it would arguably be better if Breakker dethrones The YEET Master instead of Punk, as The Second City Saint has a long-term story to tell with the title.

#2. CM Punk will win the World Heavyweight Title on a major stage

CM Punk winning the World Heavyweight Championship is only a matter of when and not if. The Second City Saint has yet to have a proper run with a world title since returning to WWE in November 2023, and most of the credit for this goes to Seth Rollins.

The Visionary cut Punk's crowning moment short by cashing in his MITB contract at SummerSlam 2025. The storyline was clearly building toward a massive one-on-one title match between Punk and Rollins, but with The Architect sidelined with an injury, those plans have been ruined.

Therefore, if Jey Uso becomes the champion this weekend, it's almost guaranteed that the Best in the World will get his moment on a bigger stage.

#1. Jey Uso will likely challenge Roman Reigns for the Ula Fala

Interestingly, Roman Reigns was the one who catalyzed Jey Uso's recent attitude change by advising him to focus on himself rather than worrying about being a team player. Doing that has worked in Jey's favor, as he now has an opportunity to regain the World Heavyweight Championship.

However, even if The YEET Master wins the gold this Saturday, his growing greed may not be satisfied. With the world title around his waist, Jey could then set his sights on becoming The Head of the Table, believing that he is the rightful owner of the Ula Fala. This would likely lead to a massive clash between Reigns and Jey in the future.
