Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes are set to battle for the WWE Championship at Saturday Night's Main Event this weekend. The rivalry between them has intensified over the past two weeks, especially after Jacob Fatu was mysteriously attacked backstage and Rhodes hit McIntyre with the belt to get himself disqualified in an impromptu championship match on the October 17 edition of SmackDown.
Considering the animosity between the two, it makes sense to add a stipulation to their upcoming title match. And in this listicle, we will look at four potential stipulations that could be added to Drew McIntyre vs. Cody Rhodes at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event.
4. Falls Count Anywhere
The ring might not be enough to hold the two rivals when they finally collide in Salt Lake City. As a result, their title match could have a falls count anywhere stipulation so that they can fight throughout the arena.

With no countouts, we could see the two get creative and even take the match backstage or into the parking lot to try and win.
3. Title vs. Career
McIntyre has already come up short against Cody Rhodes once. The Scottish Warrior competed for the WWE Championship at Wrestlepalooza, but was unable to get the job done despite his opponent not being at 100%. This time, he could put his career on the line and claim that he will retire if he doesn't dethrone Rhodes.
Although such a stipulation would be extreme, it would somewhat spoil the outcome since McIntyre is extremely unlikely to retire or leave WWE. Still, it would raise the stakes and push both competitors to put on an incredible display.
2. Nick Aldis could become the special guest referee
WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis has become increasingly involved in the rivalry and could become the special guest referee to call the match down the middle. The likelihood of both stars using unfair means has increased after Rhodes shocked the fans and took the easy way out a couple of weeks ago.
If the General Manager decides to keep the match a traditional one-on-one affair, he could become the special guest referee to draw more attention to it. If McIntyre loses, it could start a rivalry between him and Aldis later on, potentially leading to The National Treasure's in-ring debut down the line.
1. No Disqualification
Since Rhodes got himself disqualified to get out of the title match on SmackDown, Nick Aldis could simply make the match at Saturday Night's Main Event a no-disqualification match. This would ensure that the title changes hands fairly by pinfall or submission only.
Moreover, it would allow the two to go to any lengths necessary to get the win, such as using chairs, tables, or other foreign objects. Perhaps the stipulation could be added tonight after an intense brawl between champion and challenger, in which Aldis also gets involved.
McIntyre and Rhodes both have a mean streak that they can bring out when necessary. And considering the way their rivalry has suddenly intensified, it makes sense to allow them to go all-out to get the win.
