EA FC 26 Serie A POTM nominees for October revealed, Leao and Calhanoglu lead the line

EA Sports has released October's EA FC 26 Serie A POTM nominees, with Rafael Leao and Hakan Calhanoglu leading the way as the most popular candidates. Not only are these two superstars in fine form this season, they are also overpowered on the virtual pitch. If either of them win the fan-vote, they could receive an elite-tier SBC item for gamers to add to their squads.

AC Milan are currently fourth the Serie A table, with the likes of Luka Modric, Christian Pulisic and Rafael Leao being extremely influential in their starting lineup. Their city rivals Inter are third with a similar points tally, with Hakan Calhanoglu being their standout performer. Both teams are represented amongst October's EA FC 26 Serie A POTM nominees.

AC Milan's impressive start to the league campaign led to Christian Pulisic winning September's POTM award and receiving an 87-rated item in Ultimate Team. His teammate Rafael Leao could now carry on this trend by winning the award for the month of October. However, he will face stiff competition from the other EA FC 26 Serie A POTM nominees, including Turkish midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu.

The playmaker has scored and assisted several goals in the league so far this season, with his performance against Juventus being especially impressive. He is yet to receive any boosted items in Ultimate Team during the current game cycle, but his base version already possesses exceptional stats and PlayStyles.

With Napoli being at the top of the league table and on track towards retaining their title, it comes as no surprise that their star midfielder Zambo Anguissa is also featured in this list. However, Rafael Leao and Hakan Calhanoglu will still be the front runners due to their popularity amongst Ultimate Team enthusiasts.

The Portuguese superstar recently received an amazing special version during the Ultimate Scream promo, and his possible POTM item could potentially be elite-tier as well. This will provide fans with the incentive to vote for him, as his SBC will be more attainable than his promo version.
