Several title matches have been announced for the January 5 edition of WWE RAW. One of them is Maxxine Dupri putting her Women's Intercontinental Championship on the line against former champion Becky Lynch.

In a rather shocking turn of events, Lynch could end up quitting WWE after potentially losing the title match in two weeks' time.

Becky Lynch has been furious about losing the Intercontinental Title and Adam Pearce

Big Time Becks has been very vocal about her sheer disdain for RAW General Manager Adam Pearce and Maxxine Dupri. The former Women's Champion harbors a lot of resentment for the two and could be dealt a massive blow if she fails to reclaim the Intercontinental Championship.

She could end up lashing out at Pearce in person and could quit the red-branded show out of frustration after failing to beat Dupri once again.

She has boycotted WWE RAW over the past few weeks

Becky Lynch boycotted WWE RAW after Survivor Series WarGames, alleging that she did not tap out to AJ Lee in the Women's WarGames Match and was instead calling for help. After taking some time off, The Man returned to the red-branded show this week to get her rematch.

But, another boycott or complete departure from the red-branded show is not out of the question if she falls short in her attempt to reclaim the Intercontinental Title.

Lynch could take time off till AJ Lee returns

Becky Lynch has also been feuding with AJ Lee, who returned to the ring at Wrestlepalooza 2025. Her issues with Lee are far from over, but the former Divas Champion is unlikely to return to programming anytime soon.

So, Lynch could 'quit' the show as part of the storyline and make a sudden return once AJ Lee is back on the show to renew her rivalry with the legend. However, this angle remains speculative for the time being and it remains to be seen how the title match plays out on the first edition of WWE RAW in 2026.
