37-year-old AEW star confirms he has no interest in returning to WWE

A current champion in AEW made it clear that he has zero interest in making a return to the WWE. The star departed the Sports Entertainment Juggernaut last year.

The 37-year-old AEW star, Ricochet doesn't want to return to the WWE. After six years in the Stamford-based promotion, The Future of Flight announced his exit from the company last year before making his move to All Elite Wrestling. Ricochet reinvented his character as a heel over the past year and is currently the National Champion.

Aside from his onscreen character, Ricochet also plays a heel character on social media and often creates controversies. On the X social media platform, recently, Bronson Reed reacted to taking out LA Knight last week on RAW. A fan replied to Reed by asking Ricochet to come back, possibly to take a 'Tsunami' from Reed similar to Knight.

Ricochet took notice of the fan asking him to come back and reacted by confirming that he will not be returning:

"No, thank you."

Former WWE star made a huge claim about himself

The former WWE Superstar Ricochet recently made a massive claim about himself after winning the AEW National Championship at Full Gear 2025. During an interview with The Sportster, The Future of Flight claimed himself to be the most marketable and profitable star:

"You got the Women’s World. You got the Men’s World, and you got this one, and I think out of all the people in the company, I think I am the most marketable. I am the most profitable. I am the most interchangeable one, along with whether it’s pop culture, whatever it is, I’m the most marketable and this title is the prettiest one," said Rico.

Ricochet has successfully defended his AEW National title on three different occasions until now. He is set to compete in the Dynamite Diamond Battle Royal this Wednesday for the Diamond ring.
