This week's episode of WWE RAW saw the aftermath of Saturday Night's Main Event XLI. The creative team kickstarted the build-up to the next premium live event: Survivor Series: WarGames. The show featured CM Punk's first appearance as World Heavyweight Champion, World Tag Team Championship rematch, Rey Mysterio's return, and more.
Surprisingly, a major name was notably missing from the episode: LA Knight. The Megastar has been a regular feature on the Monday night show lately. With Survivor Series coming up, fans expected him to be involved in the build-up starting from RAW. However, that didn't turn out to be the case, as Knight wasn't even mentioned during the show.
Let's look at three potential reasons for LA Knight's absence from the latest episode of Monday Night RAW:

#3. LA Knight may have backstage heat
On last week's episode, LA Knight went one-on-one with Bron Breakker. During the entrance, The Megastar pulled a shocking stunt, as he held up a fan sign on camera that read, "We want LA Knight, not Jey."
This may have gotten him into hot water with the WWE management. The YEET Master was slated to compete for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship at SNME XLI, and Knight's actions may have caused fans to further turn on Jey ahead of his title bout.
It should be noted that there are no reports suggesting that The Megastar has backstage heat, but if he does, it would explain his absence from this week's RAW.
#2. WWE may have given up on LA Knight's push
Despite being one of the most popular stars on the roster, LA Knight has failed to score any meaningful victories lately. The former United States Champion failed to win the Battle Royal to challenge for the vacant World Title, was pinned by Bron Breakker last week, and even missed Saturday Night's Main Event XLI.
This suggests that the creative team may have given up on Knight's push, which explains why he did not appear on this week's WWE RAW.
#1. WWE could be planning a massive swerve
This week's episode of WWE RAW saw seeds being planted for the Men's WarGames Match, as Logan Paul aligned with The Vision, taking out CM Punk. The lines have been drawn, and The Second City Saint will need allies to counter the villainous alliance.
Given LA Knight's issues with The Vision, fans may expect him to side with The Best in the World. However, the creative team may be planning a huge swerve, as The Megastar may turn heel and follow in The Maverick's footsteps, joining the heel faction. Punk didn't mention Knight while naming people he wants to face as champion, which could be used in the story to trigger the 43-year-old's heel turn.
The former United States Champion may have been kept off this week's show to keep the WWE Universe guessing. Moreover, since Logan's joining The Vision was the highlight of the night, the creative team may be looking to save Knight's potential heel turn for the coming weeks.
