3 Clear signs that Austin Theory is not joining The Vision after WWE return

Austin Theory revealed himself as the masked man on this week's episode of WWE RAW. However, the 28-year-old superstar hasn't spoken up yet on whether he is part of or intends to join the heel faction-- The Vision. Theory took out Rey Mysterio for the second time in a row on RAW, after seemingly making an appearance at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames.

However, unlike last week, he didn't vanish in the crowd, but stood there and took off his mask. More than 24 hours have passed, and Austin Theory hasn't said anything about having any contact with Paul Heyman. That raises questions about whether the former United States Champion is part of the faction or not.

In this listicle, we will discuss three signs that Theory will not join The Vision after his return.

#3 Paul Heyman has denied his involvement

Paul Heyman has so far denied his involvement in the attack on CM Punk from the masked man at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames. He has repeatedly said that he doesn't know who the masked person was. RAW General Manager, Adam Pearce, also grilled Heyman on his association with the masked man, but The Oracle said that he doesn't know anything about it.

This is one sign that Austin Theory might remain as a single entity for the next few weeks and not align himself with The Vision. He might have his own reasons for taking out Rey Mysterio, CM Punk, and LA Knight, and can reveal them later. But Theory at the moment can desist from joining the heel stable.

#2 Sent by his former mentor in WWE, Seth Rollins

That Austin Theory is secretly working with Seth Rollins is a possibility that cannot be denied. If we flip the pages back, then five years ago, Rollins had an association with Theory. The Architect had recruited Theory during his "Monday Night Messiah" era. The alliance was for a short term, but WWE can show a connection between the two by exploiting this angle.

Seth Rollins could have hand-picked Austin Theory as his go-to man in WWE as long as he is out of action. When he returns, he will have Theory as his backing to go to war with Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Paul Heyman for turning on him.

This might have also been the reason why Theory is using Rollins' Curb Stomp to remind the fans that he isn't part of The Vision, but has links with his former mentor--Seth Rollins.

#1 Another mystery man in play

There's also a chatter that there could be two mystery men, and that Theory wasn't the one who took out CM Punk at WWE Survivor Series. The theory makes sense because, by physical appearance, it didn't appear that the person (Austin Theory) who took out Mysterio on RAW this week was the same person who attacked Punk.

Seth Rollins could be playing a dual game and using two people to go after his opponents in WWE. That also makes it easier for him to form a faction when he returns. He will have two people with him to form an alliance and then go after The Vision.

All these signs point in one direction: Austin Theory is not part of The Vision. The former Money in the Bank winner might have his own reasons for going after The Vision, but he certainly isn't working on the directions of Paul Heyman.

It will be interesting to see how The Oracle responds to this next week on RAW.
