The New York Knicks defeated the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday to become the 2025 Emirates NBA Cup champions. The Knicks lifted a trophy for the first time since 1973 since they won the NBA championship. But how much did every Knicks player get from winning the cup?
According to James L. Edwards III of The Athletic, all Knicks players signed to a standard contract are set to receive $530,000 each. The two-way players will reportedly receive a certain percentage, as well as some of the members of the coaching staff.
Edwards added that Knicks training staff like trainers, massage therapists, nutritionists and others are not set to receive a cut of the total prize money. There's also an increase of $30,000 in this year's grand prize money for each player.

The San Antonio Spurs players will get $212,000 each, while the other NBA Cup semifinalists, the Orlando Magic and OKC Thunder, received $50,000 for each player. It's an extra incentive for the players, especially for those at the end of the bench, who don't earn as much as the star players.
