Bring back recess! Work would be so much better if we got a few minutes to run around outside and reset like we used to. No emails, no meetings, just fresh air and a quick lap around the building. It’s wild that kids get scheduled time to move and adults are just expected to sit still all day. Give us ten minutes and a patch of grass and productivity would probably skyrocket.

Work is such a careful balance. You have to do what needs to get done, but not so well or so fast that suddenly you’re the “go-to” for everything. Finish too quickly and somehow you’ve just volunteered for three extra tasks. Do it too perfectly and now that’s the standard forever. It’s a strategy game of staying competent but not too efficient.
