Zion Williamson's New Orleans Pelicans extended their nightmare run in the 2025-26 season to six games, and the NBA fans were not happy. On Sunday, the Pelicans faced a 31-point blowout loss to the defending champions OKC Thunder.

It was the third time in the six games that the Pelicans lost a game by 30 or more points. Earlier, they faced a 32-point loss to the Boston Celtics and a 34-point loss to the Denver Nuggets.

After the sixth loss, one of the fans highlighted how Zion Williamson's weight loss hadn't gone as expected.

On the other hand, one fan said that Williamson should go back to putting on weight.

"Skinny Zion is just not working out. It's time to pack on the weight."

One of the fans even demanded that the Pelicans trade Zion Williamson.

"they should trade this bum, he is no franchise player nor someone you can rely on."

One of the fans was mad at the franchise for trading away their first-round pick.

Another fan slammed Pelican GM Bryson Graham in regards to giving away the draft pick.

"Lmao their GM needs to be indicted on criminal charges for trading their unprotected first."

One of the fans was upset with Jordan Poole and put the blame on him for not elevating the team.

"We traded Poole to give him a better opportunity and his team is worse than the Wizards." "Zion should’ve been traded in the off season it’s been a disaster his entire career it’s never gonna work,he’s never mentioned as a star player anymore and he was projected to be the next LeBron but the NBA has moved on from him."

Zion Williamson's season not going as expected

Before the season started, Zion Williamson's weight loss was one of the highlights of the Pelicans' offseason. Williamson reportedly lost 40 pounds and wanted to win more as the season progressed. With a more lightweight Williamson, there was a hope that the Pelicans were headed for a great season.

However, after six games, not only has the team lost every contest, but Williamson has also struggled on the offense. He is averaging the lowest on-field goal percentage of his career (48.4%), while averaging 23.5 points per game, 1.1 points lower than last season.

Zion Williamson's assist numbers are the lowest in the last four seasons. Moreover, he is also averaging fewer rebounds and blocks than last season.
