Ye Shunguang is an upcoming playable character in Zenless Zone Zero, who was teased in the latest drip marketing campaign. As such, she will debut in the version 2.5 update alongside Zhao. With the patch’s closed beta kicking off, Ye Shunguang’s gameplay leaks shared by Dimbreath, a credible third party, have surfaced online.

Ye Shunguang combat and other animations in Zenless Zone Zero, according to leaks

The Zenless Zone Zero 2.5 drip marketing campaign disclosed some key information regarding Ye Shunguang, the highly anticipated character. It turns out she is a Void Hunter from the Yunkui Summit faction. Ye Shunguang is also confirmed to be an Attack specialist who wields a special attribute that we have yet to discover, but its effect can be seen in the footage shared by Dimbreath.

It appears that Ye Shunguang uses her basic attack to unleash four slashes. She also summons six swords before charging towards the enemy. Ye Shunguang then slams down with her blades piercing the target. The attacks potentially inflict a special form of Physical damage.

The footage also shows Ye Shunguang unleashing a dash slash towards her opponents. It could be her Special or EX Special Skill.

Special Transformation and Ultimate ability

Ye Shunguang’s drip marketing artwork contained her special transformation, where her hair turns silver. Based on the leaked footage, the stance grants her powerful attacks and the ability to float. Upon triggering the transformation, she summons multiple blades and uses them to launch multiple coordinated attacks on the opponent.

Most of her slashes and skills cover larger areas and inflict the special attribute damage. Ye Shunguang enters the combat stance after casting her ultimate. The ability rains down multiple blades on the battlefield.

Movement animation

Like Seed and Yixuan, Ye Shunguang has a special movement ability. She rides on her sword case to fly around the battlefield.
