Despite all the success he enjoyed in previous rounds of the postseason, Blake Snell's exploits have proven ineffective against the Toronto Blue Jays in the World Series.

Taking the mound for the reigning champions in Game 1, Snell struggled, giving up five earned runs in five innings. He did not fare much better in his latest start, conceding five runs in 6.2 innings in Game 5 on Wednesday.

Post-game, Blake Snell reflected on the rough outing while speaking to reporters. Instead of giving the Blue Jays hitters credit, the 32-year-old insisted it was "luck" that allowed his opponents to enjoy the success they did against him.

"He is acting like a 10 year old got lucky and beat him in WarZone." another fan replied "5 ER, 2 HR 'didn’t really get to me.' 🤣" another fan responded "The strike zone being the same size since 1996 is also unlucky and resulted him in walking 4 guys in 6 innings." another fan shared "Which was the unlucky part, the 2 HRs, the 3 WP's or the 4 walks?" another fan posted

Blake Snell will get his chance to face the Blue Jays again if the Dodgers survive Game 6

Blake Snell's World Series so far has not gone to plan, but the 32-year-old may still get the chance to have the last laught against the AL Champions. In order to do so, however, the Dodgers must first avoid defeat in Game 6, which will take place at the Rogers Center on Friday.
