For some dogs, there’s nothing more exciting than hearing their human pick up the car keys. Whether they’re heading to the park, visiting their favorite people, or simply tagging along for a quick errand, these four-legged passengers seem to believe that every car ride is an adventure worth getting excited about. And honestly, who can blame them? There’s so much to see, smell, and experience along the way. Some pups can’t resist sticking their noses toward an open window, while others prefer to settle into the passenger seat and supervise the journey. Then there are those who look so comfortable behind the wheel that you’d almost expect them to have a driver’s license.
The popular Facebook page Dog Spotting celebrates the dogs people encounter in their everyday lives. Among the many adorable canine sightings shared by its community, there’s a particularly entertaining category: dogs spotted in cars. We’ve gathered 75 of these delightful photos, featuring everything from curious pups peeking out of car windows to furry passengers who seem to have claimed the entire vehicle as their personal territory.
Now, scroll down and enjoy this collection of adorable, hilarious, and occasionally very serious-looking canine passengers (and wanna-be drivers). Does your dog get excited whenever it’s time for a car ride, or would they rather keep all four paws firmly on the ground? Let us know in the comments below.
