Chris Jericho recently surprised the wrestling world by seemingly taking a shot at AEW. Fans, meanwhile, shared their own interpretations of Y2J's comments online, with many simply suggesting that he's returning to WWE.
Chris Jericho is a legend in the wrestling industry, but he's also known for being a polarizing figure at times. The Nueve has been absent from AEW programming since April this year, which has led to rumors that he's returning to WWE. Despite these speculations, Jericho has publicly stated a couple of times that he is still with All Elite Wrestling. However, some of his online actions suggest he might soon be joining the Stamford-based promotion. Recently, Y2J made the biggest implication yet about joining WWE when he called TNA the second-largest promotion and made a bold comparison to Tony Khan's promotion on the latest episode of his "Talk Is Jericho" podcast.
Following Jericho's comments, Fans erupted on X, claiming that Y2J's remarks have all but confirmed the former AEW World Champion's departure from the Jacksonville-based promotion and his arrival in World Wrestling Entertainment.
