Former WWE head writer Vince Russo recently spoke about Goldberg lashing out at the company. The legendary wrestler took issue with Asuka breaking his WCW winning streak.

During a recent interview on Real Talk with Mike Burke, the WCW veteran mentioned that WWE possibly had some issues with him. The legend suggested that Triple H possibly couldn't live with the fact that he was immensely successful within a short period of time in a rival promotion during the height of the Monday Night Wars. He felt this led to the company booking "some girl" to break his 173-0 undefeated streak and bury his legacy. Later, WWE Superstar Asuka also responded to his comments on social media.

During a recent episode of Writing with Russo, the veteran writer noted that both stars were talking about their wins and losses in the professional wrestling business. He pointed out that the entire business was a work, and their wins weren't real. Vince Russo claimed the two stars combined never won a wrestling match and, rather, were booked to win fake matches on a TV show.

"These two absolute morons are talking about professional wrestling. When you listen to this in the context of professional wrestling, do you know how stupid these two people sound?" He continued, "Asuka and Bill Goldberg combined never won one wrestling match ever. Both of them combined, they won fake matches on a television show," Russo said.

Asuka has made it clear that she is not bothered by Goldberg's take on the issue. The Empress of Tomorrow mentioned that she saw the business as more than just wins and losses. She mentioned that her work was to inspire people and create unforgettable moments.
