WWE Superstar Damian Priest posted a heartfelt message on social media as 2025 comes to a close. The former World Heavyweight Champion has been engaged in a very prolonged feud with Aleister Black on Friday Night SmackDown.

Earlier today, the 43-year-old shared a non-wrestling post on X (fka Twitter). Priest wished everyone the best for the new year. He penned a beautiful message suggesting that everyone should smile and spread laughter.

"Wishing you all the best New Year! We focus so much on what we want, what we believe should be that we forget about what is. Life is so good. Smile. Laugh. Enjoy. Pass that on to someone. To anyone. To everyone. We ain't sh*t. But we can do more for others. Let's try together. I'm with you. 🤟," Priest wrote.

The Archer of Infamy reunited with his former stablemate from The Judgment Day, Rhea Ripley, earlier this month. The Terror Twins joined forces to defeat real-life couple Aleister Black and Zelina Vega in a mixed tag team match on the December 12 edition of Friday Night SmackDown.

Damian Priest revealed he was banged up

After an impressive 2024 that saw him win the World Heavyweight Championship, Damian Priest had a relatively lackluster 2025, especially after he got kicked out of The Judgment Day and joined the SmackDown roster.

In a recent interview with Big Nick Turturro, Damian Priest explained that it was because the wrestling promotion decided to reduce his workload. Priest revealed that he tore his shoulder a couple of times in the last year and a half. The former one-time WWE United States Champion further noted that his knees and back were also banged up and needed work.

"This year, the company decided to slow things down a bit because I've been going hard for a long time. I've torn my shoulder a couple of times in the last year and a half. My knees are banged up. My back is rough. I need a lot of work done, but I choose not to unless I absolutely have to,” Priest said. [H/T - Ringside News]

It remains to be seen how 2026 pans out for the former World Heavyweight Champion.
