The idea of crossover moments between sports entertainment and music isn’t new, but a recent callout from a WWE star has fans imagining a high-profile tag team showdown featuring Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion.
During a conversation with TMZ Sports’ Inside The Ring, WWE’s Raquel Rodriguez revealed that she and tag partner Liv Morgan have already floated the idea of stepping into the ring with the two Grammy-winning artists. The concept centers on a celebrity tag match that blends mainstream star power with WWE storytelling.

“Liv and I always talked about tagging against Cardi and Megan Thee Stallion,” Rodriguez said. “I so would love to tag against Cardi and Meg Thee Stallion… I think Liv and I vs. them would just be so iconic for our careers [and] for their careers.”
Rodriguez and Morgan have built a reputation as a dominant pairing, and the suggestion of facing two global music stars reflects WWE’s long-standing interest in crossover appeal. Cardi B already has a connection to the company, having hosted the 2025 SummerSlam premium live event. While she didn’t get physical during that appearance, her presence showed she can command the spotlight in a WWE setting.
Rodriguez also weighed in on how Cardi B might translate inside the ring, even without formal wrestling experience. “I feel like Cardi could do a lot,” she said. “She’s got a lot of body… I feel like a lot of her signature moves could be stuff with her butt for sure, you know, squishing us in the corner.”
As for Megan Thee Stallion, Rodriguez pointed to her physical presence as a potential advantage. “Meg Thee Stallion, being the big girl that she is, too, I feel like she could give a good slap,” she added.
