WWE decided to tape tonight's December 26 episode of WWE SmackDown. We got a concert from Joe Hendry to start the show, and he would go on to face The Miz in the Christmas-themed opening match.
Otis showed up as Santa Claus, and Tozawa showed up as an elf. R-Truth came out as the Easter Bunny as well, and Hendry pulled off the win.
WWE SmackDown Results (December 26, 2025):
- Joe Hendry def. The Miz
- Charlotte Flair def. Lash Legend
- Carmelo Hayes def. Ilja Dragunov to become the new United States Champion
- Giulia & Kiana James def. Alba Fyre & Chelsea Green
Drew McIntyre got a backstage segment on SmackDown discussing his return and the stipulations set up on the last episode. If Cody attacks him, he would lose the WWE Championship.
Jade Cargill got a backstage segment, as did Michin.
Charlotte Flair faced Lash Legend in a match and picked up the win.
Trick Williams confronted Cody Rhodes backstage in Nick Aldis' office.
Carmelo Hayes defeated Ilja Dragunov to become the new United States Champion.
Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss were in a backstage segment with Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, The Kabuki Warriors, Nia Jax, and Lash Legend.
Giulia and Kiana James defeated Alba Fyre and Chelsea Green in a tag match, with Giulia pinning Green for the win.
The final segment saw Drew McIntyre confront Cody Rhodes, and after the exchange, Drew held up the WWE Championship. The two also set up a three Stages of Hell Match for January 9 in Berlin.
