It was reported by Bryan Alvarez of The Wrestling Observer that the opening segment went ten minutes too long, and the company was "scrambling" for the remainder of the show. WWE Hall of Famer reacts to CM Punk's win at SNME
Wrestling veteran Bully Ray recently shared his thoughts on CM Punk becoming the new World Heavyweight Champion at Saturday Night's Main Event over the weekend.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, the Hall of Famer stated that there was nothing negative to say about The Second City Saint becoming champion. However, he noted that the victory didn't feel like a big moment and that it was a result of Seth Rollins' untimely injury.
"Listen, everything went fine. Everything was good; everything worked out. No problems. They put the championship on Punk. There’s no negative to what they did. But it just didn’t feel like a big deal. Yes, the fans were happy; yes, the place popped. But it just didn’t feel like a win that really, really mattered. It felt like a win because they had to do something based on what happened to Seth. And I think subconsciously that’s in the back of everybody’s minds,” he said.We witnessed greatness as children. Now, we relive it as adults. CM Punk, once again on top as the World Heavyweight Champion! 🔥 https://t.co/n8y1ij6CGw
