Former WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman posted a social media update showing off his stacked physique. The 42-year-old appears to be working hard on his body despite his absence from the squared circle.

The Monster of All Monsters was released from his contract with the Stamford-based promotion along with several other stars shortly after WrestleMania 41. Strowman has not wrestled a match since his departure from the global juggernaut. While speaking in an interview in September, the former WWE Superstar revealed that he was semi-retired from professional wrestling, as he wanted to be an actor.

Braun Strowman recently took to Instagram to post a mirror selfie. The Monster Among Men looked stacked, showing off his broad biceps in the photograph.

"Sliced, diced and ready to roll!!!" Strowman wrote in the caption.

Former WWE Superstar Braun Strowman opens up about a potential in-ring return

Braun Strowman addressed the question about his return to the ring during his appearance on the Battleground Podcast.

The former Intercontinental Champion claimed that he missed being inside the ring and the locker room. However, Strowman pointed out that he was enjoying the break from professional wrestling and doing things he felt excited about. He added that he was travelling a lot for his show, Everything On The Menu with Braun Strowman.

"But no, honestly, I miss being in the ring, and I miss being in the locker room. A lot of the other stuff that comes along with it, I’m enjoying the break from. Because it’s very stressful. I mean, I’m still traveling a lot, but I’m getting to travel instead of, like, all right, it gets to where it’s a job. Now, I’m doing [stuff] I’m really excited [about]," Strowman said.

Strowman's first departure from WWE was in 2021. However, he made a return the following year. Only time will tell if history repeats itself and the fans get to see him back inside the squared circle for another run.
