WWE official Ava shared a heartbreaking injury update during NXT. This update involves a current champion.

Sol Ruca has been one of the most impressive stars on the NXT roster. She has captured everyone's attention with her in-ring skills, especially her finisher. She even became a double champion after winning the Women's North American and Women's Speed Titles. However, Sol suffered a serious injury during her match against Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss on SmackDown. Therefore, she was unable to defend her title against Blake Monroe at Halloween Havoc, and Zaria took her place.

Tonight on WWE NXT, Sol Ruca was backstage with Ava. The NXT GM told her that she spoke to the doctor, who informed her that the Speed Champion has been making progress and asked her how she was feeling. Sol said that she is still in her knee brace but is off the crutches. The Rock's daughter then informed her that the doctor is unsure about her return date at the moment and told her not to do anything crazy.

Ava has been having a busy night so far

Ava has been busy since the start of tonight's episode of NXT. The show started with Trick Williams, who had snapped after losing to Ricky Saints at Halloween Havoc. Trick lashed out at the people in the production room before he made his way to the ring. The former TNA World Champion addressed his match at Halloween Havoc and then demanded one more title shot against Ricky Saints.

The NXT GM came out with security to diffuse the situation. She reminded Trick that there was no controversy during his match, and he just lost to Ricky Saints. Trick called himself the biggest star in NXT before listing his accomplishments.

Ricky Saints came out and brawled with Williams before security stepped in to separate them.

If ever given a chance to change a storyline, Sunil would have booked Roman Reigns to end The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak instead of Brock Lesnar. According to him, The Tribal Chief needed the victory more than Brock Lesnar, as the latter was already an established performer when he defeated ‘Taker. He would’ve also made that as Taker’s final match.
