Welcome to a brand new edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's WWE News and Rumor Roundup for 22nd November, 2025. In today's edition, we'll cover a 4-time World Champion's unfortunate injury, a Hall of Famer's possible one final run, and Triple H confirmed the lineup for the Women's WarGames match.

Let's get started:

#5. Triple H confirms lineup for Women's WarGames at WWE Survivor Series 2025

In the latest edition of WWE SmackDown, Rhea Ripley confirmed that AJ Lee agreed to join their team and introduced her. As The Geek Goddess was making her way to the ring, The Kabuki Warriors, Nia Jax, and Lash Legend attacked the team standing in the ring.

As Lee was headed to the ring, Becky Lynch appeared out of nowhere and attacked her rival outside the ring. In the end, The Man shook hands with Asuka as the show went off the air. Later, Triple H tweeted on X and officially confirmed the lineup for the Women's WarGames match and dropped the official poster.

"A storied veteran and a breakout star debut in their first WarGames. Two teams composed of multi-time world champions. Ten of @WWE’s biggest stars all in one match. The teams are set and ready for only one thing…WAR," Triple H tweeted on X.

It'll be interesting to see which team gets the advantage heading into the gimmick match.

#4. Two names qualified on WWE SmackDown in 'The Last Time is Now' tournament

'The Last Time is Now' tournament is in full swing, and two matches occurred on the most recent edition of Friday Night SmackDown. From the red brand, Penta advanced to the second round in the tournament when he defeated Finn Balor with a Mexican Destroyer.

Elsewhere, Carmelo Hayes went one-on-one against The Vision's Bronson Reed with the group lurking ringside. In the match's final moments, Cody Rhodes appeared and hit Reed with a Cross Rhodes outside the ring and put Hayes back in the ring. This allowed the 31-year-old SmackDown star to advance further in the tournament.

#3. WWE officially announced Sheamus' injury

In October, Sheamus returned to Monday and crossed paths with The Judgment Day. Later, he was announced as a participant for 'The Last Time is Now' tournament. Moreover, he teamed up with John Cena in his final-ever RAW match and expressed his interest in facing The Franchise Player in December.

Unfortunately, that can no longer happen, as Sheamus suffered a shoulder injury. Recently, WWE officially confirmed on X/Twitter that The Celtic Warrior is out of the tournament due to a shoulder injury. It'll be interesting to see when the multi-time United States, World, and Tag Team Champion will return to action.

#2. WWE reportedly found Sheamus' replacement

Sheamus' shoulder injury has taken him out of the tournament, and The Celtic Warrior will most likely stay away from in-ring competition until the end of the year. However, the management has a backup plan and will replace the multi-time world champion in the coming week.

According to a new report from PWInsider, The Miz will take Sheamus' spot in the tournament and will face LA Knight next week in the second round. The A-Lister has feuded with The Franchise Player in the Stamford-based promotion. While he was eliminated in the first round against Jey Uso, fans wouldn't mind him getting another shot in the tournament.

#1. WWE Hall of Famer Brie Bella is ready for one final return

Nikki and Brie Bella, aka The Bella Twins, were once the faces of the Divas division under Vince McMahon's regime. The two have held the Divas Championship and were part of several memorable segments from their time as performers in the company.

While Nikki has officially made a comeback in the Stamford-based promotion under the new regime, Brie still hasn't officially returned to WWE as a performer. Speaking on The Nikki and Brie Show, the former Divas Champion expressed that she's ready to return to the ring for one final time.

The 43-year-old legend wants to have a final run as a performer before fully retiring from in-ring competition. With Nikki Bella actively working in the Stamford-based promotion, there's a chance Brie gets her last run as a performer before fully retiring from in-ring competition.
