A 28-year-old WWE star has been tipped to replace John Cena. The Last Real Champion has only two dates left on his retirement tour. His in-ring farewell is set for December 13 at Saturday Night's Main Event.
With Cena being the face of WWE for more than a decade, it is only natural to speculate who will take the mantle from him. The promotion has plenty of young talent who could cement themselves in that spot.
During an interview with Action Network, former RAW GM Eric Bischoff was asked who will eventually replace John Cena as the company's biggest star. Bischoff picked Bron Breakker and explained why he thinks so.
“Bron Breakker [will replace John Cena as the biggest star] because of the discipline, the athleticism, and that elusive thing that you're either born with or you're not: Charisma. He's got it all,” he said. [H/T: Action Network]Breakker is a two-time NXT Champion and has also won the Intercontinental Title twice. He has been a dominating presence on RAW with The Vision and has become more of a focus since turning on the faction's previous leader Seth Rollins.
He has made it clear that he wants to be the face of WWE and is doing everything he can to achieve this goal.
Bron Breakker communicates with John Cena
In an interview with the Boston Herald, Bron Breakker revealed that he has an open line of communication with Cena.
He spoke highly of the current Intercontinental champion and said it has been an honor to learn from him. The Vision member added that Cena also makes himself very approachable.
Right now, Breakker will be focused on the upcoming WarGames match at Survivor Series. He will team up with Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre, and Brock Lesnar to take on CM Punk, The Usos, Cody Rhodes, and Roman Reigns on November 29.
