WWE Hall of Famer previews John Cena's final RAW: "Tonight is a special night"

WWE will see the end of an era tonight. The Last Time Is Now Tour brings us to Madison Square Garden for Monday Night RAW...the last for John Cena.

The GOAT's final year has been a strange one, and the most successful for Cena in quite some time. Prior to 2025, Cena's last championship victory came over AJ Styles at Royal Rumble 2017. This year, Cena turned heel, captured his 17th WWE Championship, turned face, and then won the Intercontinental Title to earn his Grand Slam status a month before his retirement.

Tonight, John Cena says goodbye to Madison Square Garden and goodbye to Monday Night RAW for good, barring any post-retirement appearances. While there's no match scheduled for the Intercontinental Champion, anything can happen. WWE CCO Triple H made sure to express the importance of this night on X earlier today.

"For the 545th and FINAL time, @JohnCena will appear on #WWERaw Tonight is a special night. @TheGarden is the only place it can happen. LIVE on @netflix. 8e/7c."

John Cena's match with Dominik Mysterio wasn't an advertised bout, so there's no telling whether MSG will get one final Cena fight tonight or not. The only way to know is to tune in.

John Cena is ready for whatever the WWE Universe will throw at him tonight

John Cena is prepared for the chaos that the fanbase can bring tonight. The newest Grand Slam Champion took to X over the weekend to promote his final Monday Night RAW appearance, joking about the chants he's heard throughout his career; the same chants he expects to hear tonight.

"Tomorrow night on @netflix is the end of an era in WWE. Don't miss the final episode of #WWERAW U will ever C ME perform in. No better stage than the iconic @TheGarden to chant "Let's Go Cena" or "Cena Sucks!" Whatever it is, The Last Time is Now because after this ... I can't wrestle"

What Cena means by "perform" is unknown, as we don't know what to expect from the 17-time World Champion outside of an appearance. We could get one last RAW title match out of him, or we could see him reveal the mystery competitor for Solo Sikoa in The Last Time Is Now Tournament bout tonight. Whatever happens, it'll be must-watch TV for any diehard WWE fan.
