WWE has dropped a major Bobby Lashley reference on its social media this week. The All Mighty was a former WWE Champion before parting ways and joining AEW.
Lashley is currently away from AEW programming due to an injury. On the Winter is Coming edition of Collision, MVP confirmed that the star was dealing with an injury. He had last competed in the Casino Gauntlet Match for the vacant AEW National title on November 22 at AEW Full Gear.
On the WWE Vault YouTube channel, the company uploaded a star-studded match featuring the Hurt Business member. Back at the start of 2022, WWE Champion Big E was tasked with the monumental challenge of defending the gold against four other former world champions. He faced Brock Lesnar, Bobby Lashley, Seth Rollins, and Kevin Owens in a high-octane, jaw-dropping fatal five-way match. Despite a valiant effort from all the star, Brock swooped in during the match and captured the title.

Bobby Lashley is currently recovering from an injury
Since joining AEW in November 2024, Bobby Lashley has been a dominant presence on the roster. The star joined hands with his former teammate Shelton Benjamin and manager MVP to form the Hurt Syndicate.
New details on the star's situation suggest the injury is more serious than initially believed. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter recently confirmed that the injury to Lashley was significant and seen as a legitimate issue within AEW. However, the exact nature of the injury has not been made public.
In the absence of the All Mighty for an extended period, Shelton Benjamin will remain focused on singles competition. It would, however, be interesting to see if AEW creative does a huge swerve and adds another member to the Hurt Syndicate while Lashley continues his recovery.
