Miller joins a Dolphins quarterback room that has Quinn Ewers, Zach Wilson and Tua Tagovailoa, who is signed to a $212,400,000 contract.

Raiders general manager John Spytek had revealed after the draft that Brady liked the North Dakota State quarterback's throwing technique.

"(Brady) liked the way (Miller) threw it, his technique, throwing from the ground up and his motion," Spytek after the draft. "And he thought he had the potential to improve."

Dolphins rookie Quinn Ewers looking o end season on a high amid Cam Miller's addition

Cam Miller, who was picked by the Raiders in the draft, joined the team's training camp before the season. However, Miller was cut at the end of the training camp, spending rest of the year with the Raiders' practice squad.

The Dolphins benched quarterback Tua Tagovailoa amid his underwhelming performances, promoting rookie Quinn Ewers to the starting role. Tagovailoa has been the third-string quarterback behind Ewers' backup Zach Wilson.

Cam Miller is likely a future roster piece as Wilson is set to become a free agent in 2026. Meanwhile, rookie quarterback Quinn Ewers is hoping to end the season on a high.

“It’d be great to end the season on a high note, for sure,” Ewers said. “I think that’s super important for everybody in this building, not only myself. But just continue to play how I’m playing, keep taking care of the football, converting on third down and scoring in the red zone.”

With Miller's name in the mix, it remains to be seen how Miami moves ahead with its quarterback room for the 2026 season.
