The first episode of WWE RAW in 2026 is scheduled to take place on January 5 in Brooklyn, and the company has been announcing some major matches for the card. Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY are set to team up on the episode yet again, to challenge Asuka and Kairi Sane for the Women’s Tag Team titles on the first RAW of 2026. The match has been confirmed after the gruelling rivalry between both duos, continuing to make headlines all around the world.
Ahead of their tag team title defense, the Kabuki Warriors delivered a taped promo, talking about their never-ending feud with Ripley and SKY on RAW, and how their friendship with the former Women’s World Champion IYO SKY turned into a heated rivalry.
Further, the Women’s Tag Team Champions addressed their upcoming title defense and claimed that they will retain their tag team titles somehow or another, kicking off the new year in the best way possible. Time will tell what WWE has in store for these stars on the first RAW of 2026 now.
