Nick Aldis revealed that a top WWE Champion isn't 100% medically cleared ahead of Saturday Night's Main Event, but it seems like the match and title defense are going to go ahead as planned.

In a backstage segment on SmackDown, Nick Aldis was walking with WWE Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton, telling her that she wasn't 100% medically cleared. Regardless, Stratton let him know that she wanted to proceed with the title defense anyway. This was in the aftermath of the opening segment, where Aldis told Stratton that she couldn't touch Jade Cargill because of her title defense at Saturday Night's Main Event, as well as her medical clearance status.

Tiffany Stratton was interrupted by Kiana James and Women's United States Champion Giulia. James told her that she should have taken up the offer for protection, but anticipates that she will lose her WWE Women's title to Jade Cargill on Saturday. Stratton continued to refuse, and Giulia said that she won't be talking like that tomorrow, or talking at all.

This was followed up with a confrontation between Chelsea Green, Alba Fyre, and the duo of Kiana James and Giulia. Chelsea Green was concerned that her status as the longest-reigning United States Champion was coming to a close, and she wanted her title back and to disrupt Giulia's chance of that accomplishment.

While Nick Aldis informed her that it isn't how title shots worked, Giulia seemed more than happy to give her a title shot, and next week, they will be facing off. As for Stratton, it's a tricky situation as many believe that her dominant reign as Women's Champion is finally set to come to an end.

We will see on Saturday, as the psychological and physical advantage both seem to be on Cargill's side as she has unleashed a new, vicious version of herself.
