Texas wideout Ryan Wingo suffered a hand injury during the team's Week 10 game against the No. 9 Vanderbilt Commodores (7-1) in Week 10 on Saturday. Video replays showed that Wingo seemingly broke the thumb in the first quarter, which forced the player to exit the game.
Wingo's injury occurred when he helped the No. 22 Texas Longhorns (6-2) take an early 7-0 lead off a 75-yard touchdown catch from quarterback Arch Manning. After hitting the ground, the Texas wideout stood up and made his way to the medical tent on the sideline.
It was later reported that Wingo went to the locker room after his injury.

Since the Longhorns are dominating the game over Vanderbilt, they might not require Wingo's offensive prowess on the field.
However, Texas will wish that Wingo's injury isn't serious, since the team is still in the race to qualify for the College Football Playoff.
