WWE has been preparing for and promoting the upcoming 2025 Survivor Series for the last few weeks. Interestingly, the Stamford-based company, headed by CCO Triple H, recently dropped the match card for another special event that takes place a week ahead of the premium live event this Saturday.
The company will do a joint show with AAA Lucha Libre on November 22, 2025, titled Alianzas. The official X (fka Twitter) account of the company uploaded a promotional poster of the event and also posted the details of the matches on the card.
The event will be streamed live on AAA & WWE's YouTube channel at 10:15 pm ET/7:15 pm PT. The event will feature five matches, one of which will see the AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio team up with El Grande Americano to fight Dragon Lee and El Hijo del Vikingo.
Chelsea Green, who holds the Women’s US Championship, and Ethan Page, who holds the NXT North American Championship, will defend their AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship against Mr. Iguana and Lola Vice.
Did WWE forget to promote a match for AAA Alianzas?
Interestingly, the list of matches mentioned by WWE in the above tweet left out Natalya and Faby Apache versus Flammer and La Hiedra. As of November 20, 2025, Nattie had even posted a tweet on X (fka Twitter) confirming that she will be fighting in the AAA event in Mexico.
Wrestling in Mexico for AAA on Saturday and then straight off the plane to a book signing in Orlando with @TJWilson — and I couldn’t be more pumped. I absolutely love wrestling in Mexico , and I’m so grateful everyone is connecting with my book and wanting it personalized. I never take these moments for granted.
Thus, the promotional tweet by the company could lead to confusion regarding the status of the former two-time Women’s Champion’s match. No official word regarding the matter has been released by the Stamford-based promotion or Triple H so far.
The Hart dynasty wrestler fought her last match on October 25, 2025, in an AAA Reina de Reinas Title Triple Threat match against Flammer and Apache. It would be interesting to see if Natalya will indeed fight at Alianzas or not.
