The Doubled Pawns Matrix Pilot challenge is a new endgame mode added to the game with the Wuthering Waves 3.0 update. The mechanics of this mode are quite simple, as you will be challenged to defeat a set of boss enemies, and you can employ a certain number of teams for each run. The damage that your previous squad did will carry over when the next one is deployed.

How to unlock Doubled Pawns Matrix Pilot game mode in Wuthering Waves

The Doubled Pawns Matrix Pilot mode is a new high difficulty challenge that you can play starting from version 3.0. Unlocking it is quite simple, but it is tied to your performance on the other two endgame modes available. To start the challenge, you will need to do the following:

• Obtain 24 Crests in one phase of the Tower of Adversity's Hazard Zone
• Reach 3500 Points in the Respawning Waters mode in the Whimpering Wastes.

The Respawning Waters challenge in the Whimpering Wastes game mode can only be unlocked once you finish the first 11 stages. Once you meet both criteria, you will be able to access the challenge by going to the Event menu and selecting the Recurring Challenges option.

How to complete the Doubled Pawns Matrix Pilot game mode in Wuthering Waves

The Doubled Pawns Matrix Pilot challenge in Wuthering Waves has a few rules that you should follow. There are two modes that you can challenge:

Stability Accords (Boss Rush)

• A mode where you can deploy upto three teams, and need to defeat a total of 4 bosses, each coming with their own set of Attribute Resistance.
• You must defeat all of them in the given time. Your score will be determined by the amount of damage you dealt and the number of bosses you beat.
• After the timer runs out, you can employ another team to progress from where your last team left off. A total of three teams can be deployed this way.

Once you complete the Stability Accords stage, you will unlock the Singularity Expansion mode.

Singularity Expansion (Boss rush, but with Rogue-like buffs)

• There are endless rounds, and with each, you will be able to unlock powerful buffs.
• Enemies will respawn when you clear all of them, with higher HP and attack stats.
• There is also no limit to the number of teams you can deploy.

You will receive the following rewards once you complete all of the challenges in Doubled Pawns Matrix Pilot game mode in Wuthering Waves:

• 400x Astrites
• Premium Tuner
• Shell Credits
• Premium Sealed Tube
• Premium Energy Core
• Modifier
• Morphable Echo
• Premium Enclosure Tank II

Similar to the other endgame challenges, this game mode will refresh once each patch, resetting the rewards, including the Astrites that you can earn.
