Wuthering Waves Capturing Starlight quest guide

Capturing Starlight is a Side quest and a new addition to the Scale of Past photo collection event in Wuthering Waves. In this event, you must visit several different locations in Lahai-Roi and click photographs based on the task requirement. Completing it will give you rewards of up to 270 Astrites, Shell Credits, and level-up materials.

Speak with Silan and Ancelo (Image via Kuro Games)

Go to the Startorch Academy and talk to Silan and Ancelo about Capturing Starlight to start the quest in Wuthering Waves.

Capturing Starlight I - Take a photo of giant sword

Click a photo of the sword (Image via Kuro Games)

Use the Resonance Beacon in Fangspire Chasm and go west to find Silan. Stand on the glowing spot on the ground near the NPC and click a photo of the giant sword. Show the photo to Silan to complete the first objective. As a reward, you'll get the following:

• Astrite x30
• Advanced Resonance Potion x4
• Shell Credit x30000

Capturing Starlight II - Speak with Ancelo

Talk to Ancelo (Image via Kuro Games)

Go to Soliseed Plains in Bjartr Woods and talk to Ancelo near the Resonance Nexus. This will complete the second photo objective, and you will get the following rewards:

• Astrite x30
• Advanced Energy Core x4
• Shell Credit x30000

Capturing Starlight III - Take a photo of the waterfall

The third photo-taking spot is on the flyover in Argentflare Drapes. Once there, stand on the glowing spot near Ancelo and take a photo of the waterfall to complete the task. Show the photo to the NPC to get the following rewards:

• Astrite x30
• Advanced Sealed Tube x4
• Shell Credit x30000

Capturing Starlight IV - Take a photo of the petroglyph

For the fourth photo, you must first complete the Where Wisdom Lights the Way quest. Once that is done, use the Resonance Nexus in Marburrow Desert and head east. Adjust the in-game time to 20:00-22:00 and take a photo of the petroglyph to get the following rewards:

• Astrite x30
• Advanced Resonance Potion x4
• Shell Credit x30000

Capturing Starlight V - Take a photo of the Startorch Academy

Go to Etching Plains and follow the photo-taking spot marker to find Silan on a hilltop. Next, stand on the glowing area and take a photo of the Startorch Academy to complete the first task. Show Silan the photo to get the following rewards:

• Astrite x30
• Advanced Energy Core x4
• Shell Credit x30000

Capturing Starlight VI - Head to the source of the cry for help and defeat the enemy

Save Silan and Ancelo (Image via Kuro Games)

Head to the northern part of the Mawburrow Desert and defeat the enemy to rescue Silan and Ancelo. Speak with them to get the sixth photo, and you'll get the following as a reward:

• Astrite x30
• Advanced Sealed Tube x4
• Shell Credit x30000

Go to the hill east of Golden Spiral and speak with Ancelo. Next, reach the hilltop and take a photo of the track. Return to Ancelo to get the following rewards:

• Astrite x30
• Advanced Resonance Potion x4
• Shell Credit x30000

Teleport to the Starward Riseway base in Spacetrek Collective and use the grapple to get to where Silan is sitting. Next, go to the photo-taking spot and take a picture of the Riseway base. Show the photo to Silan and get the following rewards:

• Astrite x30
• Advanced Energy Core x4
• Shell Credit x30000

Go to the Startorch Academy and find Silan where you first met her. Speak with her to get the last photo in the series, and obtain the following rewards:
