One-time PGA Tour winner Greg Chalmers reacted to a throwback video of Tiger Woods’ impressive shot. The Australian Open recently shared a short clip of the 15-time major winner from 2011 on its X (formerly Twitter) account.
The video was from the final round of the event in which Woods carded an eagle. Chalmers reshared the post on his X account and reacted to it in the caption. He wrote:
"Really cool shot..wonder how this tournament ended"Really cool shot..wonder how this tournament ended😎
Although Tiger Woods made a fabulous eagle at the 2011 Emirates Australian Open, it was Greg Chalmers who won the event back then. He was impressive with his game and registered a one-stroke win over John Senden. He started his campaign with an opening round of 67 and then played the next three rounds of 72, 67, and 69.
Tiger Woods played the final round of 67 and settled in solo third place at 11-under, two strokes behind the winner. Chalmers has won the Australian Open twice in his career. He first won it in 1998, registering a one-stroke victory over Stuart Appleby and Peter Senior, before winning it again in 2011.

Tiger Woods has not played in any professional PGA Tour event since his last outing at The Open Championship 2024. Earlier this year, he underwent surgery after he tore his Achilles tendon while practicing, and this month, he revealed that he had another surgery, a lumbar replacement.
Last season, however, Woods had played in five tournaments. He competed in all four majors and also the Genesis Invitational, from which he withdrew after playing the opening round of 72. In the majors, he struggled to make the cut in three and settled in solo 60th place at the Masters.
