Wives of Walker Buehler and Carlos Rodon react to Garrett Crochet and his wife Rachel's major announcement

Red Sox ace Garrett Crochet had his career-best season in Boston in 2025. Although Tarik Skubal is a huge favorite to win the American League Cy Young Award, Crochet has shown his mettle.

In his first season with the Red Sox, Crochet was an integral part of the team that reached the ALDS, losing to the Toronto Blue Jays. While his professional life was hit with heartbreak, Crochet has reason to rejoice in his personal life.

On Friday, Crochet's wife, Rachel, announced via Instagram the birth of their firstborn. The single snap post showed the baby's torso with the head partially hidden.

"Colette Spencer Crochet 🤍," Rachel revealed the baby's name in the caption.

The significant others of Carlos Rodon and Walker Buehler commented on the post.

"Congratulations 😭😍," Ashley, the wife of Rodon, commented. "Ahhh, congratulations!!" Mackenzie, the spouse of Buehler, wrote.

Garrett Crochet and Carlos Rodon were teammates on the White Sox for two seasons, 2020 and 2021. Following the 2021 season, Rodon played Giants for a season before joining the Yankees, his current team.

Meanwhile, Walker Buehler and Crochet were teammates for a short time in the recently concluded season. Buehler, who started the season in Boston, was released by the Red Sox on August 29. He played the remainder of the season with the Phillies and is now a free agent.

Banks, Vaughn, Burger, Varland, Kopech, Lopez, and Fletcher were teammates with Crochet on the White Sox. Meanwhile, Giolito was his teammate on the Red Sox, and Reynolds and Wright have never shared an MLB clubhouse with Crochet.
