Beverley went on to play for seven teams in his 12-year NBA career, including the Lakers, Rockets, LA Clippers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Philadelphia 76ers, Chicago Bulls and Milwaukee Bucks. He last played during the 2023-24 season, when he suited up for the Sixers and the Bucks.

Patrick Beverley recently made headlines as Klay Thompson responded to his conversation
Since the end of his professional playing career, Patrick Beverley has made a career in podcasting. Just this week, Beverley's conversation with Jason Williams about Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson earned the ire of the Dallas Mavericks star.
On Wednesday's "Hoopin' N Hollerin'" podcast, Williams said that Thompson's romantic relationship with the rapper could be the reason for his slow start this season.
"It only takes one p**** to drag a battleship across the desert. That's how powerful it is," Williams told Beverley. "Klay Thompson, I ain't sayin' that's what it is ... but that might be what it is."Thompson got wind of the remarks and specifically called out Beverley:
"Referring to my GF as a 'p****' is so disgusting and disturbing," Thompson commented on Instagram. "Especially from someone who played in the NBA . How would yall feel if I referred to your wives in such a way ? @patbev21. Do better fellas. Very disappointing."Patrick Beverley has not responded to Thompson's comments yet, as he faced legal troubles on Friday. The 37-year-old former NBA guard is not new to being in the spotlight, as he has been involved in several publicized on-court altercations due to his physical style of play.
