Central Florida doesn't have blue in its color scheme.
But on Friday night, the UCF football jerseys are blue for their game against Houston.
They're the ones shown in the picture above. Really, they're quite sharp.
And there's a solid reason for the color change.

Why is UCF wearing blue jerseys?
UCF is wearing blue jerseys for its annual "Space Game."
They recognize the school's connection to space exploration, including UCF's aerospace engineering programs
The uniforms this year are their ninth edition of the uniform. They've been dubbed Mission IX: HyperSpace.
If UCF's players fall under the motto of look good, feel good, play good, they should play great in these sharp uniforms.
The Golden Knights, not wearing gold on this night, are seeking an impressive win. Houston comes to town with a 7-2 record.
But the visiting Cougars don't have a look like this.
UCF is winning in the uniform category, that's for sure.
