Why SNY is in Spanish for Mets game vs. Twins

SNY is the home of New York Mets baseball broadcasts.

Usually, the games are in English. But two nights in a row, the feed has been Spanish.

The Mets are taking on the Minnesota Twins on Thursday night, and the English-language feed is nowhere to be found.

What in God’s name is going on with SNY and the Mets broadcast? This is two straight nights now where there’s only a Spanish feed. How could no one be aware of this? #Mets #sny

It's not clear when this might be resolved.

Why is SNY in Spanish?

It seems that no one knows this answer.

It doesn't appear that there's any kind of official reason going around. 

As far as fans on social media can tell, it's just a mistake.
