Sonny Styles' historic NFL Combine is coming to Washington Commanders in NFL Draft

1 hour ago 3

Sonny Styles took the NFL Combine by storm.

The next step? Take the NFC East by storm with the Washington Commanders, who made the Ohio State linebacker the No. 7 overall pick on Thursday night in the first round.

Styles could've gone before seven, but the Commanders stayed put, and Styles was there for them.

He started his college career as a safety with the Buckeyes, but his transition to linebacker in Columbus went off without a hitch.

He's going to be the next Bobby Wagner for the Commanders.

Sonny Styles combine stats, 40-yard dash

Styles measured 6-foot-5 and 244 pounds, which means that the numbers he put up should've been impossible.

But then he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.46 seconds.

He vertical jumped an absurd 4.46-second 40-yard dash.

And then he had an 11-foot-2 broad jump.

Styles is a physical freak.

He goes sideline to sideline.

He shuts people down in pass coverage.

Styles is as exciting a pick as the Commanders could've made.
