After a thrilling Game 2 showdown at Madison Square Garden, the New York Knicks and Atlanta Hawks will head to State Farm Arena for Game 3 of the first round of the NBA playoffs.
C.J. McCollum had a standout performance in the 107-106 win for the Hawks, dropping 32 points. Meanwhile, the Knicks struggled to find any offensive consistency from anyone other than star guard Jalen Brunson, who had 29 points in 35 minutes played.
With the No. 6 seed Hawks proving they are up for the challenge, stealing a game on the road from the No. 3 seed Knicks, Game 3 could offer more intense action.
In addition to McCollum's breakout performance, the Hawks also had scoring output from Jonathan Kuminga (19 points), Jalen Johnson (17 points) and Onyeka Okongwu (15 points).
