Patna Pirates officially released Head Coach Randeep Dalal after the conclusion of Pro Kabaddi 2025. The Pirates made it to the playoffs but lost to the Telugu Titans in the third Eliminator.

They were at the bottom of the table and on the verge of being knocked out. However, the Pirates scripted a magnificent comeback to first qualify for the playoffs and then make it to the third Eliminator.

Randeep Dalal played a massive role in their scintillating turnaround. He took over as Head Coach from Anup Kumar midway through the season when the team was at the bottom of the table.

His release after the season came as shocking and disappointing news for Patna Pirates' supporters. Several fans expressed the same, slamming the management on X.

Notably, the Pirates have had a history of releasing coaches who have done well in the past. After winning the title in Season 5, they let go of Ram Mehar Singh. Narender Redhu guided them to the final in Season 11, but was released after the campaign.
