Brooke Hogan's husband, former NHL player Steve Oleksy, has spoken out about the emotional toll that her father, Hulk Hogan's, fame and fortune has had on her.
The 71-year-old wrestling legend, who sadly passed away after suffering cardiac arrest in his Clearwater, Florida home on July 24, was reportedly estranged from his 37-year-old daughter.

Oleksy's surprising claims come shortly after it was revealed that Brooke voluntarily removed herself from the WWE legend's will two years before his death.
Speaking to "Us Weekly," Oleksy, 39, expressed that his wife endured years of emotional trauma tied to her father's public persona and financial empire.
He also says that the Hulk, whose real name is Terry Gene Bollea, has his daughter to thank for a lot of the wealth he accumulated during his time in the spotlight.
“I believe my wife upheld her Dad’s best interests even after his death, mustering up all the courage and kindness she could despite still being very hurt,” Oleksy told the outlet.
"That money does not represent accomplishments in the ring — the majority of it came at the expense of my wife’s dignity. It was built on hurtful comments about her and her past relationship, which caused pain not only to her, but to many other families," the NHL alum added.
Steve Olesky says Hulk Hogan's sex tape scandal caused deep pain for Brooke Hogan
Oleksy is referring to the alleged racial stars Hulk used against Brooke's former boyfriend during his sex tape that was publicized by Gawker in 2012.
During the video, the WWE legend was seen being intimate with his then best friend's wife, Heather Cole.
Hulk later filed a lawsuit against Gawker and was reportedly awarded $31 million dollars in a settlement, according to the "New York Post."

“While one life was positively changed forever from a financial standpoint, the true victims never received a direct apology — and, despite the life-altering embarrassment, they never received or asked for a single dollar in compensation,” Oleksy told the outlet.
"My wife was put in a position to defend someone without knowing the full truth — unaware the remarks were tied to a sex tape and that the context and use of the derogatory language was directed at her and her ex, and conveniently misinformed of the transcripts," he added. “These are the realities we live with every day. No amount of money can erase that pain or restore what was taken.”
Brooke and her father were reportedly estranged at the time of his death.
However, despite the family rift, the Hulk's only daughter has since put out a statement in remembrance of her father.
"You were my everything, and I will always be your girl. I am PROUD to be your daughter—for all the love, light, and goodness you brought into this world," Brooke wrote on Instagram. "Thank you for choosing me in this lifetime, and for loving me so deeply. Our bond is eternal. That truth brings me comfort and hope, even in your absence."
She continued, "I love you more than all the stars in the sky, 4LifeAfterLife."
Prior to his death, Hogan was in the process of partnering on a $7 million sports bar called Slam set to open in New York City.
The three floor, 9000-square-foot establishment poised to open near Madison Square Garden in Midtown Manhattan was supposed to be filled with the WWE star's sports memorabilia, along with large jumbo screens playing clips from his career.
Nightlife veteran Rich Rosen sought Hogan - who doesn't have a direct ownership stake in the business - to secure a licensing pact in the business, according to "Page Six."
