The Cleveland Browns have plenty of resources to work with this offseason as they look to revamp their offense. Needing offensive line and wide receiver help, there are plenty of players worth keeping tabs on.
While they might not be playoff contenders just yet, with a great defense, the Browns only need to figure things out on offense to turn things around. And landing a superstar wide receiver like AJ Brown from the Philadelphia Eagles would be a great way to do so.
ESPN's Jeremy Fowler proposed a trade package the Browns could send to the Eagles for Brown. Not only is it reasonable for both teams, but pairing Shedeur Sanders with a true No. 1 WR in Brown is an opportunity that the Browns are uniquely suited for.
Why Browns are great trade partners with Eagles for AJ Brown
Fowler outlined his proposed offer between the Browns and Eagles: "Eagles get: 2026 first-round pick (No. 24 overall). Browns get: (AJ) Brown."
Thanks to the Browns trading down with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2025 during the draft, they have an extra first-rounder in this year's draft. It's a lot for one player, but Brown is worth splurging on.
Not only would the Browns be able to afford his contract, but they would also still have a very early draft pick to improve the offensive line.
Wide receiver is a very likely draft pick for the Browns in the 2026 NFL Draft. Instead of pairing a rookie with Sanders, giving him an experienced weapon who can be a game-changer would give the Browns a good look at the Colorado QB in 2026.

General manager Andrew Berry has roots with the Eagles and has experience landing star receivers in trades, with Amari Cooper, Odell Beckham Jr., and Jerry Jeudy as big trade pickups over the years.
Brown is worth the first-rounder, and with the Browns holding two of them, they're in a unique position to not only have the proper compensation to move the needle for the Eagles, but also the major roster need to justify such an addition.
The Browns can afford to splurge on a trade for Brown, and this proposed offer from Fowler would be a very reasonable one for both the Eagles and Browns.
It doesn't look likely Brown will be dealt, but if he is, the Browns likely can give the Eagles the best offer this offseason.
