The Buffalo Bills are preparing for the stretch run and on the verge of clinching a playoff spot.
They do have one variable working against them in Week 16 against the Cleveland Browns, though: the kicker position.
The Bills will have a new kicker to take on the Browns.
They expected to have Tyler Bass kicking this season. Instead, it's been Matt Prater.
On Sunday, it won't be either of them.

Why do the Bills have new kicker Michael Badgley today?
The Bills have Michael Badgley kicking because Bass and Prater are both hurt.
Bass hasn't played all season after being injured in the preseason and never healing up.
Prater will miss his first game this week. He has a quad injury, didn't practice all week and has been deemed "week-to-week" by head coach Sean McDermott.
That brings in Badgley, who kicked previously this season for the Colts and has kicked for a handful of teams in the NFL.
Badgley is rather accurate from short range, but he doesn't have the longest-distance leg.
The Bills would likely prefer Prater to get healthy by the playoffs, but in the meantime, they'll be hoping Badgley can be at least relatively reliable.
